What is Quick Book?
Quick Book is completed via the Calendar and is used for internal referrals. Quick Book is useful when the intake personnel already have the referral information, either in their case management system, or received by fax. The intake personnel can simply enter the registrant’s name, email, and identifier (Initials, Client record, Case Management #, etc). This allows the provider to look up the referral elsewhere, and eliminates duplicate data entry. Pretty neat right?
What’s the difference between Quick Book and a standard Book?
The traditional booking method in Caredove directs you through the Booking Wizard, that houses the full eReferral form. This form collects more information such as phone number, address, caregiver information (if applicable), and other health information. It’s great for detailed referrals and ensuring that the provider receives all the information they’ll require. Quick book simplifies this concept by breaking the referral down into three informational components. This allows referrals to be submitted quickly and with minimal information.
The email field was a request made by the Arthritis Society of Grand River Region. They use the Quick Book feature to book their Health Education Events. Now that the email field has been added, their registrants will automatically receive reminder emails 7 days and 24 hours prior to their events. Learn more about setting up Group Events.
